The auction for each lot will be closed in favor of the highest bidder if no one else bid during the last 5 minutes. If a new bid is placed, the bidding period for that particular lot will be extended such that the total remaining time will always be 5 minutes. As long as there is a new bid in the course of the extended time, the auction will remain open.
